Injured Merperson
You let go of your ores and relax into your seat, smiling as
you put on your fishing hat to help shield your eyes from the sun. You grabbed
your fishing rod and put some fish bait on the hook, casting it out and
watching it sink. The activity is rather low today. You end up falling asleep
before you can get your first bite.
You're startled out of your quite relaxing nap by your
fishing rod being nearly tugged out of your hands. You managed to wake up and
catch it, but your boat is nearly tipped over as something rather large latches
onto your hook. You attempt to pull it back, but whatever's latched on doesn't
want to let go. It seems a little stronger to be your average freshwater lake
fish.
The drag suddenly stops and you managed to get your fishing
rod back. With the hook snapped off of course. You tossed it aside, leaning
over to see what beast you'd just wrangled. You see something large swimming to
the surface, backing away as a pair of human looking arms latch on to the side
of your boat, covered in scars and blood.
The creature pulls itself up, groaning heavily as it manages
to get it's torso over the side of your boat. The creature pants, looking you
in the face. The creature resembles a human female, with pale skin and imposing
green eyes. It actually looks quite normal. Except for the long fish like tail
covered in Green scales, of course.

Luna's Cosplay
You are Louis, a male with Clean cut. You are introverted
and you enjoy making movies.
You live in a shared house with your roommates, all of them
have gone home to their families but you and a girl named Luna. She is short
and slim with a petit slender body with an average chest, she has dark black
hair and deep blue eyes. Luna is dorky and playful but very forgetful and
innocent. Luna is a self-made model, she is mostly known for her cosplays and
her innocent looks. The both of you are single and you have the house to all
yourselves.
You are taking a walk when you suddenly hear your name being
called.
“Louis!” You hear as you look up and see Luna come into the
room. She is dressed up in a school girl outfit with black thigh highs and
black cat ears and tail. “Can you help me? Jace is gone so can you take some
photos of me?” She asks softly as she holds up a camera, looking at you with
puppy dog eyes.
You are a bit taken back by her sudden change of subject but
you assure her that you can take some pictures of her. She smiles and nods as
you walk over to her and she steps into frame. You tell her to give you a few
cheeky poses and she does as you ask. You both have a good time and soon you
are done with the pictures.

Krystal with a K
You find yourself braking as soon as you spot her slouched
on the side of the road up ahead, looking forlorn and insignificant in the
scant shade of a rusty old water tower. You've been driving in a trance for you
don't know how long. You have no idea what this town is called and frankly you
don't care to find out.
You're stopping for her. Why? Boredom? You've been driving
on a monotonous stretch of road for hours now and you've still got a fair piece
ahead of you. Picking up a passenger would give you someone to talk to during
the rest of the long ride that awaits you. Let's call it boredom, then.
“Hey,” you say, rolling down the
window. “Need a ride?”
She bends over to peer into the car, giving you a once-over.
She takes her time. You can hardly blame her. There are crazy people everywhere
and you can't be too careful.
You return her gaze. She's young, packed into tight
cut-offs, a flimsy t-shirt, worn-out old sneakers and a faded baseball cap.
She's got a threadbare duffel slung over her shoulder and a ratty denim purse
clasped tightly under one arm. You can't see her eyes through a pair of
oversized cheap plastic sunglasses with frames shaped like pink hearts.
“Where you headed?” she asks.
“All the way to the ocean,” you grin.

Spirit of Esther
“Who are you?”
You look up, wondering if you imagined the faint voice. You
are sitting in the living room of your new house, enjoying a drink after
finishing your unpacking. You look in the direction of the voice. Is that a
pale figure you can see there?
The translucent figure looks like a woman. She’s tiny,
barely eighteen inches in height, and floats in the air. Her features and limbs
are mere suggestions, like smudges in the air. Two darker patches in her face
might be eyes. Wispy trails of hair extend away from her head, tied with what
looks like a red ribbon. She wears a dark red flared dress.
“Hello?” you say. “I’m William. I just moved in here.”
She bobs up a few inches higher. “How exciting!” Her voice
is a whisper, barely audible. “I live here. I’ve been here for - well - a long
time. I don’t know how long.”

Elena in the Rain
A faint knock on the door interrupts you as you are just
about to finish the last chapter of your book. You set the book down and rise
from your spot in your chair by the fire. “Who would be out in this weather?”
You think to yourself as you walk over to the door.
You unlatch the simple lock and open it up to see a pitiful
sight standing on your doorstep. It is a young woman, dressed in thin, dirty
clothes. You have no doubt that she is definitely a peasant, and most likely a
very poor one. She is soaked to the bone and looks like she has been outside
since the storm began. “E-Excuse m-m-me,” she stammers, her teeth chattering
from the cold. “May I please come inside?”
“Oh of course. Come in, come in,” you say, motioning for her
to hurry. She quickly steps inside, dripping all over the floor as you shut the
door behind you.
“Thank you,” she says shyly, still shivering.
“Come see, let's get you dried off,” you say kindly, showing
her to your bathroom. You take fluffy white towel and wrap it around her. She
clutches it tightly, trying to warm herself up.

Invisible
You stretch out your arms and legs with a yawn as you slowly
climb out of bed. You didn't feel like unpacking much last night, so you have
to step over all the clothes and suitcases you left scattered across your
bedroom floor. You go into the bathroom and grab your hairbrush. You are about
to style your hair when you look at the mirror and let out a bloodcurdling
scream. “What the fuck?!” You shout at the top of your lungs.
Your clothes appear to be floating in thin air! You are
nowhere to be seen. You look down at where your arms should be, but you see
nothing. You try to run your hands and arms under some water, but the water
just appears to be going around some invisible object. You can't decide whether
to be scared or amazed as you try to figure out how this is happening. “The
potion!” You finally think back to the odd souvenir you brought home with you.
A supposed magic potion that you bought from some sketchy-looking shop. “I
guess it worked after all.”
Since it's only your clothes that can be seen, you take them
all off until you are completely naked and entirely invisible. Just to make
sure this isn't a dream or something, you gently pinch your skin. When you feel
the pain, you know it's not a dream.
“What am I going to do?” You mutter to yourself. You could
literally do anything here. Since you have no plans for the day, you decide to
spend the day testing out your abilities. You decide to sneak into the women's
locker room at the local YMCA.

Demoness
You smile as the demon at your feat lets out a final scream
before turning to ash. “How unfortunate,” you say as you pick the ashes up and
toss them aside. “Have I not warned them enough not to disturb me while I am
asleep?”
Your bedchamber is at the very top of your magnificent fiery
fortress. You enjoy having your privacy in your room, unless you have a guest
whom you have granted special permission, however it is not uncommon for a weak
demon to try to sneak a peak at you as you sleep. You aren't too mad about it,
since you turn them all to ash anyway. You are actually quite flattered. No
mortal nor demon can compare to your beauty.
You walk away from your bed and into your ginormous walk-in
closet, filled with many beautiful outfits from all across the world. You
decide to go for your usual look: nothing.

Impromptu Heart Surgeon
You breathe deeply, and you steady your hands. The heart -
there, the heart! It's still beating. You can do this. You focus, and you cut
through the sternum, the bone that separates the chest cavity into two distinct
chambers. You push it aside, revealing the heart. It's still beating, and you
can see all its major arteries. You cut around them and snip them, isolating
the aorta. Then you clamp it. Then you connect the vent and the aorta, and you
inflate the lungs. Finally, you clamp the pulmonary arteries to inflate them.
All done.
You close up the chest flap and realize that you've been
operating on a woman. Wow. You must have... No, you need to focus. You need to
finish this.
You clamp the heart and cut it open. You carefully cut out
the scar tissue and the masses of dead flesh. You put the heart back together
and find that it still beats. You can see that there are two atria and one
ventricle. You see two small clots in the ventricle that you need to dissolve. You
inject saline into the ventricle and wait for it to become clotted. Then you
flush out the heart with potassium chloride. There. Now the heart is completely
and purged of blood.

Lorelei
On the shore of the island stands a lone figure, arms
outstretched as she begins to sing. You turn your boat towards her, drawn
irresistibly by her song, until your vessel runs aground, sending you tumbling
into the surf. Swimming towards the sound of her voice, you crawl panting from
the sea at her feet as your boat sinks beneath the waves.
She throws her arms around you, sobbing. "I'm so sorry.
Please forgive me," she pleads.
You pull back from her embrace and look at her: she's young,
with a frightened, wide-eyed look about her, as if she's been abandoned in this
desolate place.
"You're a..." you begin.
"A siren? Yes. I'm so sorry about your boat! It's just,
I've been here alone so long. It was selfish of me to lure you here: now you're
stuck on this island with me," she explains, bitterly.
